Avery (and Emersen) got a Power Wheels for a very early birthday present. Avery doesn't quite understand how the steering works yet =)

Emersen is scooting all over the place. She is not quite crawling, but she gets to where she wants to go. (Usually it is by going backwards). She is so much fun to watch.

Avery was playing us a song on her piano.

Emersen is just starting to pull her self up on stuff. She usually only makes it as far as her knees, but she is getting there.

It has been so hard to get a picture of Avery latley. She never seems to want her picture taken. So, this is the best picture I have of her =)
Emersen is the complete opposite, when she sees me with the camera she starts smiling.

No, she is not a Brousseau, but she is my sister so I thought I should update some of you on her pregnancy. Melissa and baby are doing fine. We could see him moving around quite a bit the other night. We all can't wait to meet the little guy in June!

Emersen loves to play with her toys, she really likes the ones that make noise.

We are so lucky to have two sweet little girls! (not so sure I will feel the same way when they start dating! =)

Avery loves wearing mommy's shoes around the house.


Avery loves hanging out with her cousins, Sophia and Brielle. They all had so much fun in the bath.

Avery thought she should wear her helmet when she is bouncing on her big ball. I totally agree!

Emersen is starting to scoot around now. She can make it quite a way, but she is going backward. Every once and a while she gets on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth. Before long she will be crawling.

Avery loves giving her baby sister hugs.
It is hard to get them both to look at me and smile for a picture. This is the best one of about ten!

Emersen was laughing at Avery and Sophia trying to jump rope. Then Avery decided Emersen should play with her big bouncy ball, but she forgot to tell Emersen. (She was okay).

Avery is really starting to enjoy her little sister now.
Emersen is really growing and changing everyday. She is getting so big. Avery really enjoyed dyeing Easter eggs this year. She was full of blue dye.
Avery and her cousin, Sophia, had fun helping me make a cake for Easter.
