Emersen was all ready to cheer for the Broncos on Thanksgiving Day. She must have done the trick, they finally broke the losing streak :)

All smiles when I told her it was time to go trick or treating. Avery wanted to hand out candy to trick or treaters so badly, but no one came that early. She was heart broken.

Emersen finally put ther unicorn hood on.

Emersen didn't really like to wear the unicorn on her head, because she wanted to see it:) Avery said this id her Super Girl pose.

Another Super Girl pose.

Avery posing in with her pumpkin.

Emersen showing off her toys.

Carving Pumpkins

Our pumpkins Not sure what that look is for. I think he was working hard on carving his pumpkin.

Avery had fun taking lots of pictures of pumpkins. I finally talked her into taking one of us, too bad she's not in it!

A trip to the pumpkin patch

Avery loved running around on the hay bales. Emersen was not quite big enough to climb around on everything, but dad was glad to help.

Avery loved the little pumpkins.

Emersen was so excited when she saw all of the pumpkins.

Emersen's 2nd Birthday

Emersen inspecting one of her gifts. She could not wait to open presents.

Emersen getting ready to blow out the candles on her cake. Again, decorated with sprinkles by the girls. :)

The luau party for Avery & Emersen

More candles to blow out. Emersen was so happy when we were singing happy birthday to her.

None of the kids could break the pinata, so Erik had to do it.

Emersen tried to break it, but it would have taken a very, very long time the way she was hitting it.

Avery was very serious about it. And the next day she told me she was embarrassed that she didn't break it and that dad had to do it. :)

Avery's 4th Birthday

Emersen really liked Avery's new snow boots. Avery posing with her cake that she helped decorate.
Avery blowing out the candle on her birthday pancake cake :)

Emersen really liked her pancakes too. Especially the chocolate chips.

The birthday girl!

Avery and Ryan hanging out on the boat. Erik and Avery showing me that Avery was going to turn four the next day.

Avery loved playing in the "pool" that her dad dug for her at the beach.

Emersen was not as sure about it. She fell in once, so she didn't really want to go in again.

Avery's 1st day of Preschool-Year 2

Avery standing in front of her locker at her school. She was so excited to go back to school. About the middle of July, she told me she missed school and her teacher and was ready to go back. :)
She really grew up over the summer!

Emersen getting ready to get in the pool.

Emersen LOVES being naked. I thought this was a funny picture, she was just standing there like that looking at the TV.
