The girls looked so cute in thier little Christmas dresses. We had Christmas Eve with Grandpa and Grandma Brousseau. Christmas Day, Erik was on call, so the four of us celebrated our own little Christmas. Then off to Nana and Papa's for the weekend. We had a great time at all of our celebrations. But I think the girls are little wiped out and ready to stay at home and play with all of the new toys.

Avery was a sheep in her preschool program. She was great!

Avery got her ears pierced!

Avery has been wanting to get her ears pierced for quite awhile, but we kept waiting to see if it was just a phase. But today we were at the mall and she really wanted to do it. We talked about how it would hurt like when she got a shot and she still wanted to do it. This pictures was before. Isn't this sad? It just broke my heart. She tried so hard to be brave. And in my book she was!
Five minutes later after a blue sucker and some gummy bears =)

This video is a little sad, but so priceless. Avery tried so hard to be brave. Afterword, I told her how brave she was and she said "No, I wasn't. I cried." She is so sweet.

The girls had fun looking at all of the Christmas stuff while waiting in line to see Santa. Avery loved the Reindeer and Santa. Emersen was not too sure about the reindeer and definitely did not care for Santa. She was not happy when we set her in his lap.

Emersen was helping cook breakfast. Avery and her friend Adison at her house in Rapid City.

Avery called there the "shocking" eyes.

Nice look Erik!

Avery and Mommy at Storybook Island in Rapid City. Yogie and Boo Boo Bear were Avery's favorites.

We just can't keep the girls away from the tree. Avery loves the ornaments and Emersen loves the presents. Avery was so excited to put the tree topper on.

Mommy and her girls watching Daddy set up the Christmas tree.

Emersen loves rocking in her chair.

Nana and Papa watched the girls so Erik and I could go out and celebrate my birthday. Brielle, Sophia and Avery watching a movie on our bed.

Emersen giving Auntie Lissa one of her huge kisses.

When Avery has to get up early on school days, she doesn't like how bright is when she eats breakfast. So, Erik put sunglasses on her. But her hair kept getting in her face, so she wore her Daddy's hat. Doesn't that make sense?? =)

Emersen could not wait to help me open my birthday gifts. Avery loves hanging out with her cousin, Sophia.

Daddy and Emersen just chillin out.

Avery eating some olives at Thanksgiving.

Emersen getting mad because we wouldn't give her anymore olives. I think olives are the only thing that the girls at for Thanksgiving dinner =)

Emersen and Papa after a big Thanksgiving dinner. Showing off my pies.

Emersen loves to give big, huge kisses.

Our littlest pumpkin!

Halloween

Mommy and her girls getting ready to go trick or treating. All Emersen wanted to do was crawl up and down the front steps. She was too busy for pictures. But she did have a lot of fun trick or treating. She wanted to walk to every house, while Avery thought we should carry her.

For once Avery actually wanted her picture taken.

This was the one and only picture I got with the eye patch. The eye patch that Avery just had to have to complete her costume. (but mom and dad carried to around all night =)

Avery's 1st day of Gymnastics

Avery was all ready for her 1st day of gymnastics. It was hard to get a picture of her, because she would not hold still. She was so busy doing so many different things. She loved it.

Emersen was showing us how old she is =)

Pumpkin Carving

Emersen had fun coloring her pumpkin. Avery wanted to paint her pumpkin black, but then she had Erik carve it anyway. She would not look for this picture because Erik was lighting the other pumkins.

It took me so long to carve the pumpkin. Erik carved 3 by before I was even done with this one.

Avery was showing off all of our hard work.
